The publication is devoted to the role of the first Moscow Order of Lenin Medical Institute in organizing medical care to the wounded fighters of the Red Army, in the preparation of medical personnel for the front during the Great Patriotic War. The book provides an analysis of the main tasks that have solved domestic medicine in the war years (organization of medical care during hostilities), and labor feats of medical university staff in evacuation that organized a training system for the front and domestic health care. The activities of doctors - scientists and practitioners - are shown on numerous examples of fate of the First Moscow Medical Institute. For the first time in domestic historiography, a historically reliable picture of the activities of the professorical and teaching staff of the first honey in evacuation (Ufa, Bashkortostan) are recreated. They were solved by an unprecedented task for its complexity - an organization in the extreme circumstances of military time uninterrupted work of the university and training for the existing army. The foundations of a number of clinical schools were laid, ensuring the development of the Bashkir Medical Institute in the post-war years.
