Fyodor Fyodorovich Fidler, German name Friedrich Ludwig Konrad Fidler (1859 - 1917) - translator (mostly of Russian poetry into German), educator and collector of a private 'literary museum' dedicated to writers of Russia and Germany, author of a diary - chronicle of the lives of writers. Fidler was an active participant in the literary life of St. Petersburg for 30 years, one of the essential members of the 'Evenings of Sluchevsky' circle, participated in all literary societies of St. Petersburg (many of which arose from his initiative), literary anniversaries, etc. Creator of the literary club 'Comradely Dinners'.
