In this publication, for the first time, not known to researchers documents archives for 1724-1896 were collected. About medals and tokens on the coronation of Russian sovereigns: Catherine I, Anna John, Peter II, Elizabeth Petrovna, Catherine II, Paul I, Alexander I, Nicholas I, Alexander II, Alexander III, Nicholas II.
The book contains unique information about the establishment, the process of manufacturing coronation medals and tokens, metal, size, cost and quantities of made copies, authors of drawings and medal polishers, tapes on which wearing medals represent lists of granted. It also describes the establishment and manufacture of a special medal "for serving during the coronation", which instead of gifts". For the first time, archival documents about the Rebish medaler, the conditions of the medical devices and the payment of their work are introduced into scientific circulation information about coronation medals with ears (for wearing) in the reign of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna and Catherine II, the existence of which to date was not known to specialists and Instances of which are not survived even in museum meetings.
