In the book for the first time since the mid-19th century, the main works of the outstanding state and public figure, the great scientist-philologist, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences of Admiral Alexander Semenovich Shishkova (1754-1841) are published. Plouds Shishkov in the field of philology played an important role in the formation of a Russian literary language. The ideas of Shishkov had a significant impact on literature, enlightenment, politics and ideology. In the 1820s, he was one of the main leaders of the Russian Party, speaking against Western influence, liberalism and freebies. As the Minister of Enlightenment of Shishkov, the main task of upbringing saw in the soul of the child Fire of People"s Pride, Fire of Love for Fatherland, which could provide national education, developing knowledge on native soil in their native language. Preference should be given to the teaching of the Russian language, domestic history and law. The efforts of Shishkov was adopted by a new charter of censorship, aimed at spreading revolutionary, liberal and mystical ideas in the Russian society
