The action of the Roman "Finnish Sun" takes place in the same house - in one closed world on its axis. The house stands in an abstract Volga city. Abstract, but well recognizable, "Volga Finns" live in the house. Each of the heroes, it is no coincidence that wearing sonorous Finnish names, their own history and their own fate. They work and study, communicate and friends, fall in love and quarrel, try to survive and sometimes even go to terrible crimes. But the more crimes, the more the axis connecting the residents is shattered ...
However, the parables, of which the novel consists, are quite attached to any house in any city. The figurative world of the author extends far beyond the limits of one specific place
