The Russian economy, which came up by the fall of 2008, as it seemed, in excellent form, was soon plunged into a crisis that covered the financial sphere first, and then spread to the real sector. The relationship of Russian events and crisis phenomena in the world has become apparent to all. In 2009, the uncertainty about the future state of the real and financial sector of the Russian economy, the course of the Russian currency rate only increases.
What caused so large-scale crisis phenomena? To what extent crisis in Russia is a consequence of globalization of the global economy, and in what - is caused by internal reasons? What are these reasons? How long will the crisis last? What are the recipes for overcoming the crisis in the world and in Russia? Is it possible for Russia, bypassing the global trends, exit from the crisis?
The book is an attempt to answer these questions to the extent that this is possible in the context of large-scale changes that are currently occurring in the global economy and undermining well-established explanatory models.
