Modern cinema seems to be enchanted by the Soviet world. The new book of Anton Dolina contains thoughts on films shot in the 21st century, but somehow talking about the past era. The author does not answer questions, but asks his own: why are the directors still concern the topics of war, thaw, stagnation, dissident, Stalinist repressions, space conquests, sports victories from the time of the USSR and secret crimes of the authorities before the people?
