History of Russian cinematography of 1941-1968

The collective monograph "History of Russian Cinematography" is the first attempt in a Russian cinema in a systematic analysis of the study of Russian cinema from the standpoint of the history of the movie industry. The authors of this study set themselves the task of considering the history of domestic cinematography from the moment of its birth to the present day in the complex interaction of all its main components of the links - management, repertoire policy, film production, film equipment and film industry, moviegoing and film distribution, economics, foreign ties, and training systems et al.
This publication is the second part of this unique study. Its chronological framework of 1941-1968. Cover three very different in their content and results of the period - the years of the Great Patriotic War, the post -war period and the era of the so -called "thaw".
