World of Warcraft. Artas. The ascent of the king of the Lich

His anger became a legend. The lord of all the restless lashes, the owner of the runic blade, ice grief, the irreconcilable enemy of all the free peoples of Azeroth, the king of the Lich is the creature of immeasurable power and unsurpassed cruelty, whose ice soul is absorbed by the desire to destroy all living things in World of Warcraft.
But it was not always. Before the orc shaman Ner"zul infected his soul with a thirst for murder, the king of Lich was Prince Artas Menetil, the heir to the Lorderon throne and the faithful paladin of the Order of the Silver Dlanie.
When a plague erupted in the north of the Lorderon, turning the living into the undead, bearing the death of everything that he knew and loved, Artas rushes to hopeless searches of a runic blade endowed with force that is able to save his native country. However, the subject of his searches requires an incredible victim from the new owner. With his acquisition for Artas, a terrible descent begins into the abyss of the curse. Now the path of the Lorderon prince leads to the frosty northern wastelands to the ice throne - and towards the gloomy fate in the world
