Colonel Apollonov General, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and at the same time, the chairman of the Dynamo sports department, has come to the match between the Kuibyshevsky Dynamo and Dzerzhinets from Chelyabinsk. There, two young hockey players Dynamo come across his eyes: goalkeeper Vladimir Tretyakov and striker Vladimir Fomin, whose game is sharply different from the inept game of two provincial teams from the group “B” of the Second USSR Championship in Canadian hockey.
