The new story of Oleg Rain "two sages in one pelvis ..." comes out in a series of fantastic literature for children, but it can be called fantastic to the same extent as realistic. Her main character, third -grader Max, is an ordinary boy of those who fights, dreams, friends, falls in love, invents, studies in one subject perfectly, and in another in any way. True, from most of his peers, he is distinguished by a violent imagination and an aggravated ability to empathize. But although the life of Max and his friend Vovka proceeds against the backdrop of recognizable signs of our time, the story has a parallel fantastic plot, revealing the meaning of the name, which, in turn, hints at the walk of the "three sages in the same basin". Where did the "two sages sailed" and what did they see and survived during their exciting trip? Both the realistic and fantastic lines of the narrative give their answers to this question.
