The herald of Cogtegriv has always been a devoted warrior of shadows. When his fellow tribesmen, torn by contradictions, swore allegiance to the bloodthirsty dark -hunger, he was among the few who remained faithful to their leader, military law and star ancestors. The once proud tribe of shadows turned out to be on the edge of death, and Kogtegriv was forced to take responsibility for the fate of his comrades.
Only one secret always stood between the herald and his devotion of the tribe - the love of the thunderstorm warrior of the pigeon. Frightened by terrible visions, a friend of Koggegriva decides to leave the forest forever and asks him to make his choice. Torn by torment, the warrior remains faithful to duty, but this breaks his heart. Responsibility to the tribe gradually turns into an excessive burden for him. Meanwhile, the shadow tribe weakens, the leader is rapidly losing authority, and the prophecies of the stars promise new trials.
