“ Injured by evil ”-the last novel by ABS, the most difficult, even, perhaps, the most unusual and probably the most unpopular of all. The authors themselves, however, considered him just among the best-too many mental strength, thoughts, disputes and the most favorite ideas were invested in him to treat him differently. Here, an old, years cherished dream to write a historical novel - in the manner of Lyon Feikhtwanger and from the perspective of a person who does not want to believe in the existence of objective and reliable historical truth (“not all this was not so, not so”) There is even an attempt to cautious forecast for the next forty years - even if the originally doomed to failure, because there is nothing more difficult than predicting what will happen to us for one human life (either it is a matter of building forecasts for five hundred years, and even better “For a thousand).”
