Andreas Ashbach (born in 1959)-a popular German fantast writer, known for his attention to environmental subjects, a four-time winner of the German Scientific and Fantastic Prize named after Kurda Lasssvitsa. His novels were filmed several times in Germany and translated into dozens of languages. And the series "Antipodes" ("submarine" - her second book) became one of the most discussed in the author’s homeland.
