The works included in this volume, different in ideas and in the plot, unites the period of their spelling: these are the first years of World War II, the time of anxiety for the fate of the world, for the future and present of mankind - anxiety that covered people on both sides of the ocean.
The idea of the story “The Sixth Column” is inspired by the author of the military expansion of Japan in the Far East. The events of the book unfold in the territories of the United States occupied by the Pan -Asian Empire, which has already captured the entire Eurasia, including the USSR. The only place where the enemy did not reach is the scientific center in the mountains of Colorado. From there, his employees and residues of the army will lead the resistance to the invaders
