A gang of cruel robbers operates in the very center of modern Moscow. They are ruthless to their victims, and miraculously survivors claim that they were attacked by bearded men in roasters and bast shoes. Following the trail of the "mummers", the best operative of Mura Nikolai Belsky is followed. He manages to go to the gang, lure them on himself and eliminate the killers.
