“Return of Pioneer” is the new novel by Shamil Idiatullin, writer and journalist, twice laureate of the Big Book Prize, the author of the novels “City of Brezhnev”, “Former Lenin”, “Recently”.
In 1985, three schoolchildren selected for participation in the secret space program Pioneer. Teenagers should help humanity conquer the universe, and before - save it from a mortal threat. And this is only the beginning of the tests. When they return to the Earth, they will find that they were in a distant future where no one knows them where there are no countries and where there was almost nothing left that they cherished and for which they were sacrificed.
