“Plutonium” by V. A. Voruchev is an exciting fantastic novel about the journey into the earth"s bowels, where the heroes, experiencing incredible adventures, fall into an amazing world that has long disappeared from the surface of the planet.
The book used (and continues to use so far) is very popular both in Russia and abroad and withstood a large number of reprints. However, in full form, Plutonius was printed only once, in 1924, when it first published. Since then, the text has been reduced many times by Soviet censorship and, forcedly, the author himself. Now, after almost a hundred years, the original version of the novel comes to readers again.
The uniqueness of this publication also consists in remarkable illustrations of Zdenek Burian, who have never previously been published in Russia
