Operation Typhoon

The Typhoon operation was a swan of the Wehrmacht song. Never
again - neither before nor after - he did not collect the German General Staff to fulfill the task the following forces: Army Group Center and three tank groups.
And in our history this plan was accompanied by success. The quick and crushing defeat of the three Soviet fronts opened the way to the invaders
to Moscow. And only the courage of the fighters and commanders of the newly created
Western Front and Zhukov’s iron will deprived the enemy of such an opportunity. Later this will be called Russian military miracle. However, in the history of
the environment and defeat of the Western Front there is a moment when the operation Typhoon could go according to a different scenario. Probably, the differences
would be insignificant, although important if several random people did not intervene in its move
