Dilogy is a historical story from the life of two periods of antiquity, of which later it is known only a little better than earlier: in particular, we know almost nothing about the historical pharaoh Jedefre, but this is precisely what discovered the widest scope for the author’s fantasy, which demonstrated the outstanding talent of a fiction writer. The common hero of two stories is not a man, but a precious stone, a hemma with a carvings, which carried the greatness of the human spirit after tens of centuries.
