In this collection, there are three works of Robert Shekeli (1928-2005), one of the most famous American science fiction writers - the novels "God"s House" and "Alchemical Maryazh Elistera Krompton" and the story "Labyrinth Minotaurus", and they are all colored by irony so characteristic of the author.

Robert Shekeli is a great writer-fantast. There is no dispute. And the great mockery. You can"t argue here either. Shekel does not have works where he does not make fun of, not ironic, did not pick out, did not parody ... whatever.
In the God"s House and Minotaur Labyrinth Shekly laughs at classical mythology, intertwined myths and reality, mixing (and confusing) modern
people and mythological gods.
In the Alchemical Maryage of Elistera Krompton, he hesitates neuropsychology, forcing his hero suffering from viral schizophrenia, rushing throughout the galaxy in search of missing parts of his own personality.
Shekli parodies the science fiction itself, inventing mocking methods of moving spacecraft in interstellar space.
Perhaps not all readers love parodies and not everyone perceives the irony, but everyone will read the funny works of Robert Shekeli with pleasure, because the humor Shekli is humane, and the amazing adventures of his heroes always end in a kind.
