The publication included two fantastic novels by the famous English writer Arthur Conan Doyle "The Lost World" and the Poisoned Belt, dedicated to the adventures of the famous traveler and scientist, the eccentric professor of the Challenger and his friends.
The expedition, headed by the illustrated researcher by Professor Challenger, goes to the jungle of South America to look for an unknown country, the sketches of the unusual inhabitants of which were found in the album of the traveler who died in the Indian village of artist. The team of researchers will have to experience amazing and dangerous adventures in the "lost world" - on the Great Plotha in the wilderness of South America, inhabited by primitive people, dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures that have already disappeared in other places of the Earth.
But, having left one world, Professor Challenger predicts a disaster that threatens the earth when she enters the orbit of a poisoned belt. And again the team is going together to save the world from threatening danger.
In this publication, 75 illustrations of Harry Rountry and William Foster are reproduced.
