"The lost world" is the scientific and fantastic story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who is known to readers primarily as the creator of the image of the famous London detective Sherlock Holmes.
Professor Challenger, a man of a remarkable mind, but incredibly eager and wayward, tries to prove to the scientific community that dinosaurs still exist. He decides to lead a dangerous expedition to the Amazon delta to present the undeniable evidence of the existence of prehistoric lizards. Will he be able to convince a scientific council, or at least just stay alive, meeting face to face with the inhabitants of the lost world?
