“Island” (1962) is the last, most mysterious and mystical creation of Oldos Huxley, in which the idea of the cult novel “On the Widest New World” was found. The author conceived as anti -utopia, this work turned out to be much larger than the narrow framework of the utopian genre. This truly great philosophical novel is a reflection of modern society.
