"Invisible Man". The story of a brilliant scientist, the physicist of Griffin, who invented a way to make invisible. Due to material difficulties, he could not finish his work and was forced to hide, experiencing the whole "love of his own invention. The position of the outcast, coupled with exorbitant ambition, turns Gryffin into a monster.
The novel was repeatedly filmed, including in the USSR, and the image of Gryffin migrated to animated films, comics and entertainment shows.
In the novel "Wonderful visit", the story of the fallen angel is told, who once at night appears in the small English village of Saiderton, where he faces the inertness and lightness of the inhabitants of the village. He has to adapt to a new existence, as well as solve unexpected problems - and the longer he remains on Earth, the more he becomes a man.
The topic of communication between a mythical being with the inhabitants of a small provincial town has taken root widely in modern cinema and in literature. The “wonderful visit” was filmed by the classic of French cinema Marcel Carne in 1974
