The main characters, circumstances and chronology of novels, as a rule, differ significantly, but all the plots are united by the idea of a great crystal - another version of the universe, which is possible from a transition from one reality to another. And, of course, the main characters of these books are children with the special properties of "Koivo" who know the secret of the transition and show qualities that any adult could envy.

So the main character, Vitka Mokhov, is transferred to parallel reality, where he not only finds friends - the same world travelers, but also recognizes the secret of the commanders. As always, minor heroes do not graze in front of dangers, and in the most dangerous people a mysterious rooster named Krieger comes to the rescue ...
And although the books of this cycle are addressed to the middle and senior school age, according to readers, Krapivin is the writer of all kinds. It is true since many of his novels with enthusiasm are read by both children and adults.
