Each student has unique abilities in a special superlice - and many of the children once lost loved ones. Sixth grader Matvey Radomir, nicknamed Hedgehog, also survived the loss a year ago. When the boy’s longing becomes too strong, he sits in the subway car and listens for a long time as mother"s voice declares the station on the ring line. But one case on the train makes the hedgehogs believe in a miracle and go in search of a mother.
This story captures and excites the reader: will the hero be able to overcome all obstacles? After all, he is a very unusual boy - and not only because the index of his imagination, as adults say in the lyceum, is higher than all known standards. He knows how to believe, is not afraid to act decisively and rush towards the unknown, if his act helps him fulfill the biggest dream - to meet his mother again.
