Darkness is coming to the dominic - the season of the night, carrying with it bad omen, madness and strange events. A lone lighthouse in the darkness rises the monastery of the last candle, the temple of the blessed light of the emperor. But, while the bishops and cardinals are fighting for power and influence, the position of the starving crowds of pilgrims becomes critical. Rags rages. Rumors are crawling about the gaining power of a cult associated with bloodshed and horrors. Inquisitor Kovenant and his followers descend into this powder cellar of intrigues. They arrived in the church world, following the prophetic layout of the Emperor Tarot in order to find agents of the triumvirate - the sect of the Khorusians, who also strives for domination. Kovenant is sure that these radicals are looking for embodiment: a true divine vessel, a living saint. He can only guess what their goal is, but he knows that nothing good should be expected. The inquisitor must stop the Khorusians at all costs - perhaps his actions will determine the fate of the entire sector
