The heresy began not with the elevation of the Horus and not with its subsequent fall. A chain of events led to treason, which stretched from the radiant past of the Great Crusade, overshadowed by the actions of an excessively zealous primarch and his legion. In the pilgrimage undertaken in the name of faith, they found a spark for a flame that covered the galaxy.
