2064. The land is in decline, and the authorities are corrupt. Depression lasts 56 years. The government presses in the bud any new technologies that can violate the planned economy.
A decade ago a group of dissidents, dreamers and radicals of Libertarians, using their scientific developments, landed on the moon. It was there that they built their shelter. Aristil, the underground city of the new frontier, in which American technocapitalists live, Mexican hydraulic farmers, Vietnamese engineers, sparks and genetically modified reasonable dogs.
Earth powers need resources obtained on the moon with colonists. We need an external enemy and a small victorious war. The inevitable conflict is coming.
