Fifteen -year -old Rudolph Vega participates in an experiment with a time machine. He enters Germany of the XIII century and joins the crusader, the purpose of which is to go through the parting sea and take Jerusalem. This time distinguishes this one from other crusades of that time: all its participants are children. The children"s novel by the famous writer of the Thera Bekman is based on the events of the real crusade of children of the 1212th year. It is rightfully considered the classic of Dutch literature, translated into many languages and filmed.
