The life of sixteen -year -old Rich has never been rainbow: civilization collapsed half a century before his birth. Roy"s invasion of the depths of the cosmos turned the blooming megalopolis of the brigade-3 into a pile of angry fragments and forced the survivors to hide deep underground. Now people rise to the surface of the planet only to get preserved artifacts in ruins, the manufacturing technology of which has long been lost. The enemy was not completely destroyed by mankind, and among the ruins the Robi robots are still hiding, but there is no other choice - the war continues on all surviving planets.
Rich joined the artel of prospectors from among other pupils of his boarding school for the sake of a tiny chance to prove himself. After all, only two paths awaited him ahead: to join the ranks of the army of an almost decayed federation or become part of a criminal syndicate, and for these systems there is nothing more important than authority. But an unexpected find during an ordinary sortie can become a ticket for Rich to a new future and change everything ... Only the price can be too high
