1940s. In the small and all forgotten Lithfield, life goes on as usual, and a former policeman, and now a guard and private detective George Walker, suffers from boredom, unsuccessfully trying to forget his own past. But everything changes when a mobile cinema comes to the city. According to the official version, he will demonstrate to everyone the most ordinary propaganda film, but rumors stubbornly go in the city that the audience will actually see something incredibly frank, or even just scandalous. Only together with the cinema in Litchfield does real horror come. First, right in the hotel room, something breaks into parts of one of the guests, and after that the number of strange deaths and disappearance in the city only grows. Walker takes on an investigation, but does not know one thing: when a curtain rises, the streets around will switch madness, cruelty and frenzy, a real carnival of black magic and revived nightmares will begin, the main roles in which are destined for the detective and all residents of Lithfield
