Twelve -year -old Samuel Blink and his younger sister Marta, as a result of a tragic incident, are forced to move from his native England to a gloomy wooden house at the edge of the dark Norwegian forest. Their only the remaining relative, the stiff aunt of Ida, seems to not know what entertainment is: there is not even a TV in her house, and there is absolutely nothing to do around the street. The house itself is surrounded by a forest, to which Aunt Ida strictly forbade even to approach.
