Roman-utopia "4338th year: Petersburg letters" belongs to the pen of one of the most outstanding and highly educated people of the 19th century, Prince Vladimir Fedorovich Odoevsky (1804-1869), an influential dignitor, a senator, a hofmeister and a chamberlain at the court of Emperor Nicholas I. The book was Written in 1835-1839. The nineteenth century is a geopolitical forecast of Russia"s development for 2,500 years in advance.
