Just before New Year's, a boy named Vitalik, the owner of a dog named Zefir, ended up in the hospital. Zefir missed him terribly and decided to find a friend at all costs. One morning during a walk, he caught a familiar scent coming from one of the cars - the same scent as those who took Vitalik! Zefir dashed after the car with all his might, but suddenly a strong gust of icy wind knocked him off his feet and sent him spinning in the air... And so began Zefir's incredible adventures: he met the northern wind Zlopykh, the capricious cat Bastina, and the kind minibus driver Ivan Ivanovich, who was delivering gifts to sick children. Together with them, Zefir and Bastina managed to sneak into the hospital and even created a real New Year's miracle! However, they missed Vitalik - the boy had already been discharged. What should they do? Will the friends be able to meet again - especially since brave Zefir unexpectedly found himself in big trouble...
