Alexander Blok, perhaps the most significant poet of the 20th century, is inextricably linked with the era of Russian symbolism. It is impossible to understand the block outside of literary and domestic relations, outside the conditions of occurrence, heyday and decomposition of symbolism. Both the book about the block should be a book about the Symbolists, and the history of the fate of Blok - the history of the entire literary movement of symbolism. Therefore, the task of the authors is to show not only the block of a person - the bearer of a separate personal fate, but the Bloc of the poet, a representative of a large aesthetic culture
