Forty five years old Masters" Wiring lacquered the writer in the table before he decided to publish them. This novel appears at one time, immediately after writing, in Samizdate or Tamizdate, it would probably occupy a decent place next to the books "School for Fools" Sasha Sokolov and "Moscow-Petushki" Wennedikta Yerofeyev, and his author would threaten either prison and mental hospital or forced emigration. The erotic, religious and social component of the novel would be unequivocally regarded by the Soviet government as a distortion of socialist reality. However, in "Wires" interesting not so much how much is a formal novelty: all text is a single inner monologue with repeating elements of external speech, quotes from Scripture, fragments of poems and prose, lyrical and philosophical deviations. The reciprocating movement of the narrative creates a slow motion effect. The book was not completely outdated at all, rather, on the contrary, it turned out and filled with new meanings
