So many fairy tales begin: mother died, the man took the stepmother into the house, and she disliked the stepdaughter, sent her to her aunt - Baba Yaga ...
But Zhu, with which the same thing happened, is not sure that she got into a fairy tale. The village in which she found herself was a forgotten place somewhere in the north, where the sun never comes, around the forest and swamps, and the phone does not catch here. There is absolutely nothing to do here, and the local old women have an incomprehensible dialect and only conversations that about corruption and deceased who come to the living, about brownies and incomprehensible grass, which helps to find lost people, but it is difficult to disrupt it: it grows in a distant heat and Its unclean power is protected.
However, Zhu is not interesting. Since her mother did not become, it is difficult for her to communicate with people. For her, this is done by the internal twin brother, about whom the Zh begins to think that this is she herself. To be a boy or a girl, to live in a city or in a village, to do something or do nothing at all - recently, the Zhu does not matter. However, from the day the local sorceress in the hearts said, “Break you Leshy” and Zhu sunk into marshy forests with her brother, and she had already left - from that day she has to learn to live again, listen to the old women and understand what they are talking about about Forces living in the surrounding swamps, and how to handle them. Only in this way can she understand something about herself.
A new novel from the author of the ethnic saga about the mountain altai Kadyn. The story of the little girl Zhu, who lost her mother and fell into forgotten places somewhere in the north, to finally find herself there.
