Robert Young was not a professional writer and all his life , with the exception of three years of service in the army, he lived in the small town of Silver Cryste in the state of New York. He worked as a driver, a castingman, a Swiss, a handyman, and wrote in his free time, and for thirty years he created five novels and more than a hundred stories, and it was the stories that became the hallmark of the writer.
