The secrets of the crown

Does the king have the right to choose the second half not out of benefit, but for love? Perhaps, but not here and not now. The kingdom needs strong allies and thoughtful politics. In such a situation, to exchange for such an insignificant thing as feelings is not permissible. King Vainor understands this, but he is not able to contradict his own heart. Therefore, he simply runs away with his lover.
But it would be naive to believe that the escape will cross out the past and become the beginning of a new life. There are people faithful to the king, but even more than those who want to take accounts with him and his lover. Therefore, he can’t see him peace and peaceful family life away from political and court intrigues.
