Nightmares

The book presents two copyright collections of stories of the outstanding German writer Hans Heinz Evers. The collection of "nightmares" is first represented in Russian, some stories from the collection "Obsessed" are re -translated. The brothers in the workshop called Evers the most disgusting type among their acquaintances, readers called him "German Edgar Po", the great Lovecraft was admired by his stories and novels. The work of Evers, exposing the horror of human relationships, absorbed the traditions of romanticism, decadence and expressionism. The heroes of his stories fall in situations requiring the monstrous efforts of the will and tension of the darkest sides of human nature.
