The book includes “adventures of Pinocchio” - the classic fairy tale of Alexei Tolstoy, as well as the original text of K. Collodi “The Adventures of Pinocchio”, which the writer creatively processed. The translation from Italian was made by N. Petrovskaya and was given in the literary processing of the same A. Tolstoy. “The Adventures of Pinocchio” adorn the colorful drawings of L. Vladimir, the illustrations for “Pinocchio” are adorned by the English artist Charles Folkard. The publication is complemented by one hundred and twelve colored personnel from the famous Soviet diaphylm Adventures of Pinocchio, made according to the drawings of L. Vladimir. For the first time, A. N. Tolstoy got acquainted with the story of the Pinocchio of the Italian writer Carlo Collodi, when in 1923 he settled for the editing of the translation of this fairy tale, performed by the known at the end of the 19th century. writer N.I. Petrovskaya. He liked the fairy tale, and in 1933 Tolstoy took up his own presentation of the adventure of a revived wooden doll. However, he did not like the moralizing of Collodi, who kept instructing his readers, showing how Pinocchio"s mistakes bring all kinds of troubles and misfortunes. Then Tolstoy decided to remake the tale of his collod in his manner, and as a result a real diamond was born - “Buratino Adventures” (from Italian Burattino - “doll”, “puppet”) The fairy from the tale of Collodi turned into Malvina, the good owner of the puppet Theater Mandzhafoko-into the evil Karabas-Barabas, and Buratino himself became a mischievous merry and an incorrigible optimist. The whole story about his adventures gained extraordinary dynamism. The well -known image of Pinocchio in a striped cap was created in 1953 by a talented drawer L.V. Vladimir, at that time he worked as the main artist at the studio Diafilm. Three years later, he illustrated a separate book about the adventures of Pinocchio. It is these drawings of the master that decorates this publication. It is curious that his five -year -old daughter served as a model for creating a Pinocchio image to the artist. Carlo Lorencini (Collodi - Pseudonym) was born in 1826 in Florence in a poor family. Literature fascinated him early. Carlo worked as journalism, wrote stories and essays, published a satirical magazine and translated Charles Perrault into Italian tales. The fairy tale composed by him about the adventures of a wooden doll brought the writer universal glory. It is unlikely that he expected such a success when the first part of this story was published in the summer of 1881 in one of the first Italian weekly children"s magazines. However, parents and children liked the adventures of puppets with the lies lengthening from the lie, although they had a lot of moralizing, instructive maxims and many cruel scenes. Readers demanded a continuation, and for two years Collody added more and more new parts to the story of Pinocchio. By the end of the XX century. “Adventures of Pinocchio” (from Ital. Pino - “pine”, occhio - “eye”) were translated into 260 languages. In this edition, the fairy tale is decorated with the drawings of the English artist Charles Folkard (1878–1963) An early talent of the drawer forced him to devote his life to illustrating books and magazines. Folkard created whole series of drawings for the stories of the Grimm brothers, for the fables of Aesop and the Arab tales. For Pinocchio"s Adventures, he drew more than eighty drawings that became classic
