Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky (1882-1962)-one of the founders of Russian children"s literature. And one of the most published children"s poets. In the book of fairy tales in verses “Phone”, “Confusion”, “Aibolit” and “Barmaley”. For many years, K. Chukovsky devoted to the collection and study of children"s folklore, children"s speech and word -making. The poetic lines of the poet are rhythmic, figurative and concise. They are easily remembered - “Oh, it’s not easy to work - to drag a hippo from the swamp!”, “Glory, Glory to Aibolit! Glory to good doctors! ”,“ Do not go, children, walk to Africa! ”
