The work is a co-authored article-based scientific and practical commentary on the Family Code of the Russian Federation. The authors draw attention to the difficulties that courts face when applying the norms of the Family Code of the Russian Federation. Some suggestions are made for the correct application of family legislation, including the legal qualification of family relationships. When writing the commentary, decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City Court, as well as doctrinal positions on family law issues were taken into account. The legislation is provided as of October 1, 2020. The work is intended for judges, employees of guardianship and custody authorities, law enforcement agencies, state and municipal civil servants, and all citizens interested in the application of family legislation. 2nd edition, revised and expanded.
