The ratio of faith and knowledge as theological and philosophical problem is discussed since Christianity came to the ancient world. This topic refers to the number of eternal and, at least, at our time, it is not exhausted. Each new shift in scientific knowledge detects new difficulties here and new perspectives. This book detected precisely those problems and conflicts that arise in the context of modern scientific views. It is very important that it presents a special look at the problem, expressed in the subtitle as a look from the East. The conversation about faith and knowledge is usually associated with ideas developed in the Western Christian tradition, the look of Eastern Christianity is in the shade. This gap also fills the collection, in which those trends are revealed, which are caused by the Greek and Russian Orthodox context. It is essential that the authors are not overlooked and the most significant concepts developed in European philosophy and theology
