The cycle of piano miniatures by the Russian composer A. M. Rudenko 'Fables of I. A. Krylov' (Op. 30) is interesting because its main idea is to convey in music the characteristics and plot lines of the most famous and beloved fables of the great Russian fable writer Ivan Andreevich Krylov (1769-1844). The material is aimed at developing piano skills, abilities of figurative thinking, and emotional perception of music in students and piano students. This collection can be used as material to expand the educational repertoire of music schools, colleges, and conservatories, as well as in the concert practice of pianists.
