Extrapyramidal disorders - yesterday, today, tomorrow

Before you, an unusual publication, which is a collection of publications of employees of the Center for Extrapyramidal Diseases at the Department of Neurology of the RMAPO, who seemed to us the most important. Unlike the humanitarian sciences in medicine, journal articles, even conceptually or informative, live a short time. They are read immediately after the release of the magazine, and then the main thing in their content at best moves in monographs and manuals, shrinking up to several lines, and the article itself turns out to be a legged fate of the link, and printed with the smallest font. Meanwhile, the value of some - the continuing - magazine articles remains for a longer time both with historical and scientific and practical point of view. New knowledge is far from always destroy old. Often they contain numerous grains of truths, which gradually accumulate and, melting, form a new scientific paradigm. In any case, they give knowledge of that temporary volume, which so lacks many newest publications. At the same time, this is an opportunity to recall the glorious past, to estimate the accuracy of the choice of scientific research and clinical work vectors, to present their work in the "interior" of international studies of extrapyramidal pathology, the flow of which in recent years is growing rapidly. And in this rapid stream there are our streams. In recent years, especially after the wide distribution of the Internet, journal publications are often becoming "recipient. In this regard, it is pleasant to realize that many clinical problems of extrapyramidal pathology were first raised in the works of the employees of our center. And now we are moving along the international postal road of progress in the study of extrapyramidal pathology, but by in some cases peculiar
