Explanatory dictionary of the Russian language. About 100,000 words, terms, and idiomatic expressions

This dictionary is a corrected and supplemented edition of the classic dictionary of the Russian language "S.I. Yohegova. In the new publication of the dictionary included about 100,000 words, scientific terms, dialectisms and archaisms, sustainable phraseological combinations, while the overall structure and the nature of the material supply was preserved. New words and expressions reflect not only changes in the socio-political, scientific and cultural life of Russia over the past 40-50 years, but also the current language processes of our time.
Compared to the previous publication, in the 28th edition, new vocabulary articles were updated and significantly reworked.
The dictionary contains vocabulary actively used in various spheres of the Russian language. Word article includes the interpretation of the word, examples of its use in speech, reveals its phraseological and word-forming capabilities, indicates emphasis and, in difficult cases, pronunciation, grammatical forms and stylistic characteristics are given.
