The publication is based on reconstructed by archival sources stored at the Institute of Russian Literature and in the National Library of Ukraine The book of poems V.V. Capnice prepared by him for printing in 1820, but not published. For the first time, the structure of the book (initiation, preface of 45 poems of one Horace, 45 Latin originals, substitution transfers and comments to them is reproduced) For the first time, substitution prose transfers and the full corps of the Capnica comments to the gods are published. The book is accompanied by an introductory article and the historical and literary and real commentar of the compiler, as well as the selection of the pych of the cap, thematically associated with its Goragian arrangements
